Cascades Academy educators recognize the importance of incorporating a multitude of diverse perspectives in order to foster understanding and compassionate connections. Curriculum across all divisions celebrate differences, whether that be gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, or religion among others. Cascades Academy is an independent PK-12 day school. The school opened in September 2003 to address the need for an independent college preparatory school in Central Oregon. Enrollment has grown from an initial 61 students to its current student population of 235. The Cascade Academy is small and specialized. Our schedule prioritizes a healthy life practice and is guided by the principle that whatever our students are going to do at home, they need to practice while at Cascade Academy.
